Deon worked for many years at Walgreen's and Crossroads Drug. Deon loved to meet and talk to people in her work. In her younger days Deon loved to dance and enjoyed being the the center of attention. Before moving to Salt Lake as a young woman, Deon attended college in Cedar City and was once the lead in a Shakespear play. She worked one summer at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and always spoke fondly of those happy times.
