Wallace Bazil (Perry) Gaddie served in the U.S. Army from 1940-1945 and 1946-1947. He also served in the U.S. Air Force from 1950-1957.

During World War II, Wallace was with Company B, 63rd Armored Battalion, 11th Armored Division, Austria. He fought in the Battle of the Bulge, Ardennes Forest; Rhineland and Central Europe. He was awarded the Good Conduct Ribbon, American Defense Service Ribbon with One Bronze Star, American Theater Ribbon with 3 Bronze Stars, and 7 Overseas Service Bars.

In 1947 while still with the U.S. Army he served with the 712th Military Police Company, Washington, D.C.

In 1950, while serving in the U.S. Air Force, he served in the Korean War and received the Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal, Bronze with 2 loops.

Wally served 15 years 4 months 29 days of Active Service.

Wally is survived by his daughter, Debbie L. Gaddie Roberts and 3 grandchildren; Vada Mossavat, Rebecca and David Roberts.
