Ruth "Marie" Rowe, 69, died Saturday, Nov. 20, 1999, at her home following a lengthy illness.
Born April 12, 1930, in Junior, W.Va., she was the daughter of Franklin and Myrtle (Cox) Pingley. She was a Nelson area resident for 36 years.
Mrs. Rowe worked 36 years for Packard Electric on the Re-Op and Battery Line before retiring in 1990.
Survivors include sons, Danny (Pam) of Lake Milton and Gary (Karen) of Leavittsburg; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers Raymond of Garrettsville and Harry of Belington, W.Va.; and sister, Irene George of Niles. Her husband, Gail B, whom she married Aug. 1, 1947, died Nov. 7, 1986. Her brothers, Frank and Willard, and sisters, Lillian Tacy and Levina Pingley, died previously.
Private family graveside services will be held in Windham Township Cemetery. Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home, Garrettsville, is handling arrangements.
