William Ambrose Moreland
MINDEN - William "Willie" Ambrose Moreland, 78, died Wednesday in the Minden Medical Center after a sudden illness.
Moreland had worked for Standard Oil for a number of years and also the City of Minden. He was a member of the Parkway Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Parkway Baptist church with Rev. C.H. Land officiating. Burial will be in Minden Cemetery under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home.
Survivors are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Joe Hunter of Minden an Mrs. Eddie Bottera of Houma; two grandsons, Bob Hunter and Don Hunter of Minden; a granddaughter, Bonnie Bottera of Houma; two great granddaughters, Sharon Hunter and Jill Hunter of Minden, and a sister, Mrs. D.D. Lunsford of Shreveport.
