Bluefield, May 6 - Calvin Meador, a brother of the Hon R G Meador of Athens, and who was himself well known throughout the county, was struck by a train near Ada yesterday morning and instantly killed, his body being literally cut in two.
The remains were brought to Crockett's undertaking establishment in this city and prepared fr burial. The body was terribly mangled being cut in two near the waist.
The remains will be taken to the home of the deceased, near Dunn's leaving here on No 18 this morning, and interment will be made there this afternoon.
