Claude W. "Jerry" Fike, 94, of Addison, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014 in Uniontown Hospital.
He was born December 2, 1919 in Friendsville, Md. He is survived by sons, Kenneth and wife, Bobbie, Smock, PA, Gary and wife Barbara, Grantsville, Md. and Jody and wife, Debra, Friendsville. 4 grandchildren, Kevin and Kimmy Fike, Garrett and Carrie Fike and 3 great grandchildren.
His wife, Dolly (DeWitt) Fike and brothers Charles and Burton Thomas preceded him in death. Jerry was a lifelong farmer and truck driver and resided at the same residence in Addison for 72 years of his life.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, PA, where a service will be held at 11 AM Monday with Rev. Glenn Foster officiating.
Interment to follow in Addison Cemetery.

My husband and I knew him because we were truckers and are from the same little town. We always saw him when he stopped to eat at Lone Star. He was a kind man.
