Died of tuberculosis. Buried with her husband, Francis Dyer. Mother of 8 children: Frank, Elizabeth Margaret (Lily), Jeremiah, David Vincent, Alice, William Francis, John, James Joseph.
She immigrated to America in the 1860's. She was born in Walshestown, County Limerick Ireland. Her parents were James Clifford and Johanna Fitzgerald.

OBITUARY

" The funeral of Mrs. Catherine Dyer took place from the church of the Holy Rosary last Monday mroning at 9 o'clock. Last Friday's Enterprise contained brief notice of her death. She had been ill for a long time with consumption, and her death was expected.
The funeral cortege was a large one, many friends and neighbors drove out to the home of deceased to follow the remains in to the church and to their last resting place. The remains were buried in Lakeside Cemetery."

Dyer, Mother September 11 1850-February 7 1902. Block 20er.
