James Finley
James Finley, 75, Crothersville R2, died at 4:30 p.m. Monday at Jackson County Schneck Memorial Hospital. He had been ill for two months.
Mr. Finley was a retired farmer and a veteran of World War II.
Born October 29, 1903, in Jackson County, he was the son of the late John W. and Mary Alice Carpenter Finley. He spent his entire life in Jackson County.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Verna Stout, Westport R2; and Mrs. Grace Mize, Seymour; and several nieces and nephews.
Three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday from Uniontown Baptist Church with the Rev. Joseph Mollohan officiating. Burial will be in Uniontown Cemetery.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday at Kovener Funeral Home, Crothersville.
