SPANISH FORK (Special)-- Mrs. Margaret F. Markham Morgan, 84, died Wednesday after being in ill health for more than a year.

She was born in Spanish Fork March 21, 1866. a daughter of Stephen and Mary Curtis Markham, Utah pioneers. She attended public schools of this ares and was active in auxiliary organizations of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was an active member of the Relief Society of the Third Ward and was chairman of the quilting committee for 23 years.

Sunday, March 19, nieces of Mrs. Morgan held an open house at home and more than 100 friends called on her ceremony fete.

Mrs. Morgan was married to Owen Morgan June 11, 1902, in the Salt Lake LD.S Temple. He died in 1914. They had no children but helped rear a number of nieces and nephews.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Maretta Bona, Spanish Fork, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Third Ward Chapel by J. Austin Cope, bishop. Friends may call at the family home, 191 West 5th North, Friday after 6 p.m. and Saturday prior to services. Burial will be in Spanish Fork City Cemetery under direction fo Claudin Funeral Home.
