LaNelle Holloway, age 88, passed away peacefully at her home, Friday, January 29, 2016. Visitation is 4:00 - 6:00 Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Lakewood Funeral Home and at 10:00 Monday, February 1, 2016 with funeral to follow at 11:00. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Holloway was a member of Van Winkle Methodist Church. She retired from Bell South/AT&T after many years of service and enjoyed her work very much. Her customers called her Ms. Telephone Lady when they would see her out shopping.
Mrs. Holloway was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis (DC) and Janie Haley of D'Lo, MS; Husband Billy R. Holloway; Daughter DiAnne H. Snider of Jackson. Survivors include daughters, Donna Hill (Robert) of Arizona, Joy Cruise (Larry) of Brandon; and Son Ronnie Holloway of Jackson; six Grandchildren, Cassie Buchanan (Micah), Jennifer Bray, Brandon Cruise (Olivia), Robbie Hill, Amanda and Brian Holloway; and three Great Grandchildren.
