Jessie Wright Burk, 70, of Route 2, Emlenton, died at 10:30 AM yesterday in her home.
Mrs. Burk was born August 3, 1884, in Kansas, the daughter of Sarah Young and Stephen Wright.
She was a member of the Eau Claire Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, John Burk; four sons, Lawrence Burk of Volant; Otto Burk of Parker; Cecil Burk of Grove City and James Burk at home; six daughters, Mary Book of Slippery Rock; Nellie Wimer of Slippery Rock; Anna Montgomery of Harrisville; Della Gibson of Grove City; Magaraet Riddle of Wesley and Lena Riddle of Route 2, Emlenton; a sister, Sylvia McClairn of Stoneboro; 51 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Womer Funeral Home, Clintonville, until noon Saturday. The body will be then taken to the Eau Claire Methodist Church, where friends will be received for an hour before the services. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday from the church, with the Reverend Earl Jennings, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Annisville Cemetery.
