Margaret B. Erwin, 93, a Lewiston homemaker, died Saturday at Orchards Villa Nursing Center of causes related to age.

She was born on August 26, 1896, at Stockett, Mont., to George and Jennie Kessner. She remained at Stockett until 1932, when she moved to Belt, Mont. In 1938, she moved to Bedrock Canyon, near Leland, and then moved to Lewiston in 1943.

She married Herron Wilson in Great Falls, Mont., on Oct. 2, 1925. The couple was later divorced. She married John W. Irwin in Great Falls on Dec. 6, 1932. He preceded her in death in 1957.

Mrs. Irwin was also preceded in death by a sister, Etta LaSalle, and three brothers, Robert, Fred, and William Kessner.

Mrs. Irwin was a member of the Pythian Sisters, a life member of the Women's Society of the First United Methodist Church, and a member of the Grace Circle of the church. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and embroidery.
