Mary Jane Married James Poor December 21,1880. She was 16, they are both found on the 1880 census - attached - living with his mother. I can't find anything on either one of them after 1880.

She was erroneously reported as having married James Roon due to the difficulty in reading the marriage record - attached - but a note attached is more legible, it clearly states James Poor.

Mary was the daughter of Richard"Dick" and Elmira Moon Baker, he gives permission for Mary to marry James, her first husband. And her first child is named, Richard C. Poor born 1881 and died 1947.
Mary and her second husband, William H. Hunt married 13 Oct 1888 in Madison County, Alabama and later moved as many did to Smith County, Texas, where in 1949 Mary died and is buried in Flint Cemetery, William predeceased her by ten years, dying in 1939 and he too is buried in Flint Cemetery. William was the son of George Washington and Angelina Sarah Nelson Hunt. Angelina was the daughter of John W and Elizabeth Mc. Glover Nelson, Elizabeth was the daughter of Jonathan and Sarah Baker Glover, and Sarah and John Webster Baker were sister and brother.
