Cecile was born in Metz, France. During the war she was in France. Deported with twin sister Gisele with Transport 31 from Drancy camp, France to Auschwitz-Birkenau extermination camp, Poland on September 11, 1942. Cecile and Gisele were murdered/perished in the Shoah. This information is based on a list of deportation from France found in Le Memorial de la deportation des juifs de france, Beate et Serge Klarsfeld, Paris 1978.
