alter Henry Anderson was born May 3rd 1927 in Round Rock Texas, son of Claus (Jack) and Selma Anderson. He graduated from Round Rock High School in 1944. After graduation he enlisted in the army. After the military he moved to New York State where he met the Love of His Life Geraldine (Geri) Powell. They were married on February 24th 1952 at St Mary's Catholic Church in Amsterdam, NY. In 1953 they moved to Austin, TX where they raised their three (3) children Jane, Walter Jr., and Robin.
His brother Burton Anderson, sisters Bertha Stern, and Anita Lanning survive him. Children: Jane Anderson Stephens, Walter Anderson, Jr., Robin Bailey and her husband James Bailey. Six grandchildren: Courtney Anderson Dennis, Amy Stephens, Megan Anderson Hamer, Jennifer Stephens Holloway, Andrew Bailey, and Bradley Bailey. Seven Great-Grandchildren: Aiden Dennis, Kelsey Page Dennis, Lillian Dennis, Koen Hamer, Kinleigh Stephens, Kallie and Lillian Holloway.

Walter Henry Anderson, 86 passed away, Tuesday February 4th, 2014. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Geri Anderson, his sisters Evelyn Barker, Bernice Casebolt and Margaret Ingram. His brothers: Charles Anderson, and Emory (Bill) Anderson.
Visitation will be Thursday February 13, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 1200 South Bagdad Road in Leander, Texas. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday February 15, 2014 at Palm Valley Lutheran Church, 2500 East Palm Valley Blvd in Round Rock, Texas. Burial will follow at Palm Valley Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Bailey, Bradley Bailey, Robert Mott, Jonathan Williams, Jon Holloway and Eric Lewis.
