Steven E. Cooper, age 67, of Fairfield, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2014 in his home.
He was born December 25, 1946 in Hamilton the son of Norma (Kenworthy) Cooper and the late Adrian Cooper. Mr. Cooper was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps serving in Vietnam. He was a Sergeant in the Marines was an aerial photography interpreter. He worked for many years as an assembler for General Motors. On May 12, 1977 he married Colleen Land.
He is survived by his mother Norma Ruth Cooper; his wife Colleen Cooper; three children Ronald (Debbie) Klare, Lisa L. French, and Suzanne Shepherd; six grandchildren; two brothers Von Cooper and Ted Cooper, and two sisters Robin (Richard) Kerth and Vicky (Bob) Dow.
Visitation 5-8 PM Tuesday at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield. The funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 AM Wednesday January 8, 2014 at the funeral home with Pastor Tammy Jo Reiser, officiating.
Burial to follow with full military honors in Arlington Memorial Gardens.
