Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon for William Kier of East Rochester who passed away Aug. 5, 1948. Burial was in Pittsford Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Florence; two daughters, Mrs. Coral Smith, Pittsford, and Mrs. Robert Ashton, East Rochester; four sons, William Jr. of Rochester, Stanley and George Kier and Robert Comstock, all of East Rochester; four sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Rowe of Wyoming, Mrs. Minnie Squires of Bergen, Mrs. Lizzie Hicks of Conesus and Mrs. Lena Ducloos of Honeoye Lake; two brothers, John of Rochester and Edward of Fairport.
