Mrs. Annie Rees Hines, aged 24 years, wife of Mr. Maxie Hines, died at their home in Knoxville Wednesday, January 30, 1930. The remains were brought to the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Whitaker of Mulberry, where the funeral was conducted by Rev. M. J. Taylor. Burial at Mulberry Cemetery. She was of a lovely christian character and a consecrated member of the Missionary Baptist Church. Surviving her besides her husband and parents are three sisters and one brother, Mrs. Mildred Wright of Louisville, Kentucky, Mrs. Mattie Massey and Mrs. Frances Pierce of Huntsville, Alabama, and M. D. L. Whitaker of Mulberry.
