Death—Velma Watson, 90, a lifelong resident of Knox City, Missouri, died May 6, 1996. Born Dec. 10, 1905, Velma was the daughter of Daniel Grant and Luanna Jett Goodwin. She married Chester Floyd Watson Aug. 9, 1924 in Monticello, Mo. She is survived by two sons, Thomas and Bill. Burial was in Knox City Cemetery.
