Catherine was a daughter of Hannah Sheen and John Forbes. She married Amasa Driggs and was the mother of six daughters and four sons.

Obituary. Catharine F. Driggs. East Layton- Mrs. Catharine Forbes Driggs, 83, died Tuesday at 8:10 a.m. at the home of Mrs. Margaret Forbes in East Layton of causes incident to age. She had been ill six weeks.
Mrs. Driggs was born in Kaysville, February 26, 1858, a daughter of John And Hannah Sheen Forbes.
She was married to Amasa Driggs in the old Salt Lake Endowment house, December 6, 1875. Her husband preceded her in death.
Mrs. Driggs formerly resided in Hooper and in Mountain View, Alberta, Canada.
Surviving are three sons, Apollos Driggs of Ensign, Alberta, Canada; Asael Driggs of Hagerman, Idaho, and Sam Driggs of Kennewick, Wash.; three daughters, Mrs. Louise Jackson of Ensign, Alberta, Canada; Mrs. Laura Loxton of Vulcan, Alberta, Canada; and Mrs. Sylvia Burt of Salt Lake City; two sisters, Mrs. Janet Green and Mrs. A. W. Adams, both of Layton; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. in the East Layton LDS ward chapel.
Burial will be in the Layton cemetery. Friends may call at 2128 South State street in Salt Lake City Thursday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. and at the family home in East Layton Thursday evening and Friday prior to services.
