Was born in Puyallup Washington September 18th, 1917 to Alma and Carl Hallen. She passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter Karen Anderson and son-in-law Jerry Anderson in Graham Washington, on October 22, 2004. Her husband of 67 years, Harry Nelson and her daughter Betty Rickert preceded her in death. She is survived by her brother Bill Hallen (Fran) and sister Grace Wilkins both of Lewiston Idaho. Margaret was a homemaker, loving wife, mother sister, and wonderful friend and a REAL LADY. She loved her family and her seven grand children, Christine Kenny (John) Marc Rickert (Amy), Tracy Anderson (Lisa), Casey Anderson (Julie) Todd Rickert, Keith Anderson (Susan), Melvin Helland (Kris) and her great grand children, Tyler, Austin, Wyatt, Koda, Adian, Anderson and Jacob Rickert, Taylor Kenny, and Bradley and Noel Helland. Margaret was also was close to her son in law Schril Rickert and his wife Sheree. A special thank you to Franciscan Hospice, Cheryl, Amie, Sandra, and Aaron and to Sandy Ransom, Margaret’s Special Friend. A Memorial Service will be held at the Puyallup Elks, Monday October 25th, at 3:30 P. M. Officiated by the Ladies Emblem Club, where Margaret was very active and was the past president. In lieu of flowers please send your donations to Franciscan Hospice in Margaret’s name.
