EDEN — Olean Kendrick Mosley, 94, of the Brian Center, died on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Morehead Hospital.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, Wilkerson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens
Mrs. Mosley was born in Patrick County, Virginia, to the late Charlie Reid and Minnice Stone Kendrick. She was a lifetime member of Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church. She was a wonderful homemaker and loved to cook. She was also a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James "Binks" Mosley, five brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her son, Curtis Mosley of Stoneville; daughter, Doris Jean Harvey and husband, Freddie of Eden; grandchildren, Wayne Mosley, Cindy Hall, Warren Harvey, Justin Harvey and Dara Barger; six great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; one step-grandchild, sisters, Gladys Lawrence and Adean Harris
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 4, 2013 at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and other times at the residence of her daughter, 267 Heritage Road, Eden, N.C.
