OBIT: DEPORT TIMES 20 Dec 1934, Thursday, from microfilm in the Clarksville Library: Hoovertown News -- Forest Cotton died Wednesday of last week at the home of his sister, Mrs. Lee Jackson at Detroit. Funeral services were held Thursday at the Pattonville Methodist church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. C. B. Thompson. Burial was at Blossom cemetery. He is survived by his widow, two sons and two daughters, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Cotton and several brothers and sisters. He had been ill for several weeks.
