Samuel Robert Brady, 56, of 1429 Dogwood Court, White Oaks, died yesterday at his home. He was born in Cumberland,May 16 1917, the son of the late Walter W. and Mary (Hoffman)Brady.
He was employed at Works 7 PPG Industries Inc. Mr Brady was a veteran of WWII and the Korean War and was a member of Henry Hart Post 1411, Veterans Foreign Wars; James P. Love Post 92, American Legion Lonaconing; Local 180, Glass Workers Union; St. John's Lutheran Church; Cumberland Outdoor Club; Ali Ghan Shrine Temple; Fort Cumberland Lodge 211, AF&AM; Grand Lodge: AF&AM, of Maryland Scottish Rite, Cumberland Consistory; Ali Ghan Shrine Temple Motor Corp. and Tall Cedars, of Lebanon.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs Florence Marie (Loar) Brady, one son, a stepson at home, one daughter, a stepdaughter at home, one brother Walter W. Brady Jr., this city, and 8 grandchildren.
The body is at the Scarpelli Funeral Home where friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
