Doacie HemphillROCK HILL - Mrs. Doacie Hemphill, 93, of 254 Clinton Avenue, passed away on Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, at her residence. The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Chestnut Grove AME Zion Church in Chester, with the Rev. Donnie Dye officiating and the Rev. Ina C. Harris delivering the eulogy. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Survivors include three children, Frank Hemphill Sr., Sadie H. Banks and Jeanette Hemphill; 17 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; 26 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Hemphill may be viewed from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Robinson Funeral Home and from 11 a.m. until time of the service Saturday at the church. The family will receive friends at the home.
