William Rittenhouse
Following an operation in the City Hospital William Rittenhouse of 74 Van Nostrand Ave, died Thursday morning at that institution. Rev. Dr. Penny, rector of St. Matthews P.E. Church will officiate at the funeral services which will be held in his late home tomorrow afternoon. Internment will take place in Bay View Cemetery.
Mr. Rittenhouse was 56 years old, was born in New Columbus, PA; but had been years a resident of Jersey City for nearly forty years, the last thirty five of which was spent in the Bergen and Greenville sections. He is survived by his wife, Nell Rittenhouse (nee Hogan), two daughters Ida and Eleanor and five sons, Jacob, William, Frederick, Joseph, and Robert.
