Mary Ann Lovett Foley was born in 1834 in Philadelphia, PA. Her parents, John Lovett and Isabelle McBride came to the U.S. from Ireland. Mary Ann was their only daughter. Her siblings were: Patrick, John Jr, Terence, Joseph, and Alexander were all born in Ireland. Her brothers Thomas born 1838 and Benjamin 1839, were both born in Philadelphia, PA.

Mary Ann married Charles Foley before 1852.
Their children:
1. John Lovett Foley 1852-1852 from Dysentry.
2. Charles Foley 1853-1853, died the same day at 10 hours from premature birth.
3. Elizabeth Foley 1854-1854 of Debility.
4. A stillborn child (no sex given) died June 19, 1858.
All of these children were buried next to Mary Ann's parents, John and Isabelle Lovett at Old Cathedral Cemetery.
5. Isabelle Folery born about 1856.

Mary Ann's husband Charles Foley was in the Civil War in the 1863 Emergency Regiment of Blue Reserves. Charles Foley died October 14, 1863 of Hepatitis and buried at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.

Mary Lovett Foley's death record hasn't been found yet, but she is most likely buried at Old Cathedral Cemetery with her parents and children, as are some of her siblings.
