LOUIS S. PUCKETT
Louis Samuel Puckett, 1034 Brooks street, died at his home Sunday at 11:15 p.m., after an extended illness.
He was born in Kentucky, June 18, 1881, the son of Benjamin and Martha McIntire (McIntosh) Puckett, and had been a resident of Burlington for 18 years. On April 27, 1912, he was united in marriage to Ella Grinstead at Mt. Pleasant. He was of the Methodist faith.
Surviving are his widow; 4 sons, Francis, Melvin, Albert and Delbert Puckett of Burlington; 2 daughters, Verna of Mason City, and Hazel Wallace of Tishamingo, Okla.; 2 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Carrie Hanson of Burlington and Mrs. Mae Maginnis of New London.
Services will be held in Prugh's chapel, Thursday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
