Mr. DeCamp was born May 18, 1917 in the Town of Groton, son of the late Charles and Florence DeCamp. A native of Groton, Mr. DeCamp also lived in Moravia and Cortland before returning to Groton. He retired in 1980 as a truck driver after many years with Pall Trinity Micro Corp., Cortland. Mr. DeCamp was a former member of the Purple Lancers Marching Band of Auburn. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving with the U. S. Army in the Pacific Theater. Surviving are his wife, the former Elsie Royce Rotunda; a sister, Grace Preston of Henderson Harbor; nine step grandchildren and seven step great-grandchildren. Internment with full military honors was in Groton Rural Cemetery.
