CADIZ RITES FOR W.B. BROADBENT
Services for William Burley Broadbent, 80, retired Trigg County farmer, will be at 2pm tomorrow at Goodwin Funeral Home, Cadiz.
Officiating will be the Rev. J. Norman Ellis. Burial will be in East End Cemetery.
Mr. Broadbent died at 1:30 yesterday afternoon at Trigg County Hospital after an illness of two months.
He was born in Jackson, Tex., April 25, 1883, the son of James and Cordie Aldridge Broadbent. He was a Baptist.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Cordie Sumner Broadbent; two daughters, Mrs. Harry Meredith and Mrs. Nora May Boyd; a son, William B. Broadbent, Jr.; three stepsons, John Wesley Adams and Burno Sumner, all of Trigg County, and Billy Sumner of California; three step-daughters, Mrs. Mason Lowery, Benton, and Mrs. Hicks Bryant and Mrs. Stonnie Parker, both of Trigg County; a brother, Jeff Broadbent, Trigg County, and several grandchildren.
