STEPHEN A. COUSSAN died at 11:15 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, 1977, at his residence in Lafayette. He was a native of Carencro. He was retired since June 1973 as District Supervisor of the Lafayette and Lake Charles area office of vocational rehabilitation, after nearly 30 years of service in the field of education. Body at Delhomme Funeral Home, Lafayette, with visiting from 7 a.m. until time of services. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Delhomme's Chapel of the Flowers at 3:30 p.m. Thursday. Burial in St. Peter Cemetery, Carencro. Survived by his wife: the former Estelle Selser, Lafayette; one daughter, Joan Coussan, Lafayette; one son, Stephen Carl Coussan, Grand Coteau; three sisters, Mrs. Heloise Crone, Lafayette, Mrs. L. D. (Amelie) Bernard, Broussard, Miss Odette Coussan, Carencro; four brothers, Doucet Coussan and Louis Coussan, both of Lafayette, Riolan Coussan and Paul Coussan Jr., both of Carencrow; one grandchild, Regan Coussan, Grand Coteau. Delhomme's Funeral Home, Lafayette, in charge of arrangements.
