GEORGE R. BELLAR, JR. MUNSTER, IN
George R. Bellar, Jr., age 82, of Munster, passed away February 5, 2012. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Patricia Bellar; sons: Scott (Sheri) Bellar and Robert (Jeannie) Bellar; grandchildren: Stephany, Matthew, Michael, Cordilia, Gabriel, and Conner; sister, Joan McFall and family. Preceded in death by his son, Mark Bellar; parents: George and Florence; and brother, Lowell. George was a proud war veteran. He served 1946-1949 as SGT. USAF and 1951-1952 AEM2C USNR. He was a member of the VFW in Munster. George received his Bachelors degree in business from Indiana University and MBA from IIT. He was a dedicated employee of Inland Steel for 27 years and Thrall Car for 10 years. George was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Ave. Schererville, IN). Interment Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
