Mrs. Carrie A. Aldrich Dies; Nonogenarian
Mrs. Carrie A. Aldrich, one of the oldest residents, died this morning at her home on School street. She had been in frail health for a long period, but was seriously ill for less than a week.
Mrs. Aldrich was born in Woodford April 13, 1864, the daughter of Charles A. and Julia Bowles Harbour. Her husband, George N. Aldrich died in 1917. She had two sons, Amos and Clifford, both deceased.
She is survived by three daughters, Ruth Aldrich and Mrs. Harold Hewitt of Bennington and Mrs. H. Green Brimmer of Pownal; nine grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and two brothers, H. Alfred Harbour and Jacob S. Harbour.
The funeral will held from her home Monday at 2 pm. Friends may call at the home anytime.
