Mrs. Philomene (Killian) Goddard, 61, wife of Roy Goddard of Monticello and a sister of Mrs. George Schomers of Mulberry, died Monday night at the Lafayette Home hospital. She had been ill for three weeks.

Born in Lafayette, she was married in 1920. The couple lived at Oxford for six years and moved to Monticello in 1926. She was a member of the Methodist church and Order of Eastern Star.

Other survivors besides the husband and Mrs. Schomers is another sister, Mrs. Ray Barbour of Lafayette, and three brothers, Ed and John Killian of Lafayette and Peter Killian of West Point.

Last rites were held at 2 p. m. today (Thursday) in Monticello.
