Elizabeth Hinning Vorlop was born in Amara, Hanover, Germany March 23, 1829. She was married about sixty years ago to William Vorlop and they came directly to Reedsburg from the old country in 1868 and have made their home here for the past forty-five years. Two years ago Mr. Vorlop died and since that time she has lived with her son Fred where she passed away Monday morning about four o'clock lacking 20 days of being 84 years old. She leaves a family of five children, four sons and one daughter,
Fred and Henry of this city, Wm. and Chas. of Chicago and Mrs. Elizabeth Hinrichs of Madison, ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. The funeral was held Wednesday p.m. at 2 o'clock at St Peters church.
