On Oct. 15, 1876 she was united in marriage with Fred Vorlop at St. Peters Lutheran Church in this city, Rev. August Rohrlack officiating.
Mrs. Vorlop passed away Monday morning, May 23, 1932, after a brief illness, a heart attack being the immediate cause of her death.
For sixty-five years Mrs. Vorlop has been a resident of Reedsburg and a faithful member of the church from which she was buried on Thursday afternoon May 26, the service being conducted by her pastor, Rev. Carl Schinnerer.
Mrs. Vorlop was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two sisters and two brothers. Two children passed away in infancy.
She leaves to mourn their loss, five daughters and four sons.
