Ralph M. Carter of MAGNA — Funeral services for Ralph Moffat Carter, 70, of 3171 S. 8450 W., Magna, who died Tuesday in a Salt Lake City hospital, will be Friday at 1 p.m. in Spencer Ward Chapel, 3084 S. 8400 W. A native of Provo, Mr. Carter was born May 14,1902 to James Chauncey and Jennie Moffat Carter. He married Pearl Osborne on Feb. 17, 1921 in Salt Lake City and she died Aug. 5, 1970. He was employed at C & C Car Wash. Survivors include one son and four daughters, Ralph Carter, Mrs. J. Weston (Betty) Walton and Mrs. Robert (Dorothy) Simsich, all Salt Lake City; Mrs. Gloria Olsen, Magna, and Mrs. Morris (June)'Jensen, Richfield; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Earl (Florence) King, Bountiful. Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at 8525 W. 2700 S. and Friday from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in Valley View Memorial Park
