Mrs. M. Ellen Bussard, 99, Timonium,formerly of Frederick, died Tuesday January 7 at Stella Maris Hospice in Timonium. She was the wife of the late Karl Franklin Bussard.

Born in Wolfsville, June 1, 1914 she was a daughter of the late John Elmer and Flora Virginia Harshman Bussard.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Middletown.

She is survived by:

1 son - Alan R. L. Bussard and wife Thalia K. Bussard - Timonium

3 grandchildren - Ariel B. Bendall and husband C. Hunter Bendall Jr.; Anastasia E. Bussard; Amalia K. C. Bussard

1 great-grandson - C. Hunter Bendall III

She was predeceased by two brothers - John L. and Albert C. Bussard and 5 sisters - Mary C. Specht, Nellie M. Cartee, Sadie S. Bussard, Elsie R.Grossnickle, Eva V. Schroyer

The family will receive friends on Thursday Janauary 9 from 6 to 8 PM at the Donald B. Thompson Funeral Home, 31 E. Main St., Middletown.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM on Friday January 10 from the funeral home. Interment will be made in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Middletown.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, 107 W. Main St., Middletown.
