Aleta was born January 18, 1941 at Ringling to Mr. John Henry Abshire and Mrs. Eva (Cunningham) Abshire. She passed from this life Sunday, January 5, 2014 at Ardmore.
Aleta was raised in Ringling attending school here. She worked most of her life as a hairdresser and was also a floral designer at the Strawberry Loft/ Raintree for Donna Butler of Ringling. Aleta was also employed at the "Pants Factory", co owned a tavern and had some rental properties. She especially enjoyed working with flowers. Aleta in the past attended the Methodist Church of Ringling.
She is preceded in death by her Parents; Brothers, Jack Abshire, Ceaton Abshire and Jim Abshire; Sisters, Ethel Stepp, Dorothy Perry, Ima Bradford and Eula Berry; and Infant Daughter, Mickie Hagood.
Survivors include her three Sons , Scott Guilliam and wife Lynn of Oklahoma City, Tracy Guilliam and wife Penny of Yukon and Brady Guilliam of Reck; Sister, Louise Rainwater of Eufala; 6 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild; Numerous other Family and Friends.
Pallbearers are Mark Griffith, Houston Gazaway, Clint Smith, Mike Fondren, Trent Hammons and Ty Hammons.
Visitation will be at the Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling on Friday, January 10, 2014 from 6-8 P.M.
