Ada Ellen Green was born on February 7,1874 in Ellerton, a daughter of John Wesley and Sarah Rebecca Moser Green of Ellerton and was the wife of Millard Wilson Brandenburg who predeceased her on November 1, 1938.
Ada was born and reared in Ellerton but has resided the last 54 years in Hagerstown where later in life she and her late husband had decided to make their home.
Ada was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Hagerstown.
She is survived by two daughters, two sons, 10 grandchildren, and 17 Great-grandchildren.
Ada is also survived by one brother, and a number of nieces and nephews; predeceased in addition to her husband by two sisters, Sarah Ann "Annie" Elizabeth Smith and Elsie Esther Smith.

Funeral held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Myersville with the Rev. Dr. Wilson P. Aird officiating and internment made in the adjoining church cemetery by A.K. Coffman funeral directors.
