He was a member of Grace Brethren Church and the Friendly BibleClass. He had been employed at New York Central Iron Works for over 30 years, and had retired 14 years ago.
Surviving are sons, the Rev. John H. Green, Endicott, NY, Daniel L. Green and Lester I Green, Hagerstown; daughters, Mrs. Ethel Irving, Leitersburg, Miss Zelda Mae Green and Mrs. Mazie Baker, Hagerstown; foster daughter, Ella Mae Shoemaker, Hagerstown; four grandchildren and five great–grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Minnich Funeral Home.
