Hugh Devine was born in August of 1862 in New Orleans, Louisiana to James and Ellen Drew Devine (the family was located here during his father's time in the Navy). He married Minnie Estelle Eaton April 8th, 1885. According to obituaries, they had 10 children; two of which preceded them in death. Hugh died December 21st, 1933.
