She and George Vissers and children got to know each other during his wife's illness and later decided to marry and blend their two large families. Together they had twin daughters born 10-6-1923 - Alice Anna & it is thought Agnes). However, the latter was stillborn (and it is unknown where baby twin Vissers' grave is located). Together they raised 13 children, hers, his, and theirs. They lived happily together on their dairy farm until he died. Later as the children grew up and moved away Anna sold the farm and bought a house.
Sometime later she met another widower, Bill Ebben, and they married and lived in her house until she died. Anna is buried next to her third husband, Bill Ebben, though it was her wishes to be buried next to her first husband, Georg Chmela.
