Cecil E. Pugh was born in Augusta County the daughter of Samuel A. and Lilly B. Claytor. She is survived by her husband W.S. Pugh, her parents and the following siblings: E.H. Claytor, Jack Claytor, Mrs. Jake Claytor and Miss Ethel Claytor of Glasgow; Mrs. Charlotte Crickenberger of Roanoke, and Mrs. L. Hickman and Mrs. Myrtle Humphreys of Buena Vista. She was an active member of the Mt. Zion Methodist Church and treasurer of the Ladies Aid Society.
