He is survived by his wife, Verna; three sons, Gregory Boeckel, Harry Sweeney and Owen Sweeney; two daughters, Sharon Boudle and Lyn Gain; one brother, Richard and one sister, Louise Zimmerman; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mr. Boeckel was born March 24, 1928, in Springfield Township. He was the son of the late Curvin and Myrtle (Shearer) Boeckel.
