Amundson, Ellard Andy Keith 86, of Easley, SC and husband of Bernadine Deanie Smith Amundson, went to be with the Lord Sunday December 29, 2013. Mr. Amundson was born in North Ottowa Township, Minnesota, the son of the late Richard J. and Effie Brewster Amundson. He graduated with honors from Wittenburg University after three years of study. He was a sales representative and teacher for I.B.M. and retired after 35 years of service. He was a 50 year member of the Walden Masonic Lodge, was a consulting Rosarian Emenitus and was known as Mr. Rose Man. Andy was an avid rose gardener and enjoyed music, traveling and photography. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Greenville. Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Eric Amundson (Cindy); two daughters, Marilyn Jaderlund and Amy Saenz (Patrick); a brother, Carroll J. Amundson (Dorothy); a faithful sister-in-law, Pearl Amundson; three grandchildren, Kristina Amundson, Cara Amundson and Sarah Jaderlund; and a faithful caregiver and sitter, Frances Oliver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Diane Amundson. Services: Memorial service at the ORTMANN STIPANOVICH Funeral Home, 12444 Olive Blvd., Creve Coeur, on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 11 a.m. Interment Bellerive Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Lutheran Hospice, 429 N. Main Street, Greenville, SC 29601.
