Nancy L. Rainbolt
Nancy L. Rainbolt, 80, Salem, died Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, at 4:50 p.m. at her home.
Born Aug. 14, 1933, at Corydon, she was the daughter of the late Roy Fulkerson and Carrie Belle Harris Fulkerson.
She was retired from GKN Sinter Metals after 35 years, attended Mt. Tabor Christian Church and was a member of the Salem VFW Post 6636 Auxiliary and the Salem American Legion Cecil Grimes Post No. 41 Auxiliary.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Claude E. Rainbolt Sr.
Survivors include three daughters, Cheryl Hacker and Cynthia Rainbolt, both of Salem, and Patricia Zink of Campbellsburg; a brother, Vance Fulkerson of New Albany; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Thursday, Jan. 2, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Friday, Jan. 3, after 9 a.m. at Dawalt Funeral Home Salem.
Funeral: Friday, Jan. 3, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with interment at Crown Hill Cemetery in Salem.
Officiant: The Rev. Randy Nation.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Nancy Rainbolt Memorial Fund, in care of PNC Bank.
