Marilyn Carter McDonald, 61 of Radcliff, KY died Sunday, December 29, 2013 at North Hardin Health and Rehabilitation Center after a lengthy illness. Marilyn was a native of Savannah, GA and a 1970 graduate of Herschel V. Jenkins High School. She was an active member of Mill Creek Baptist Church in Radcliff, a member of the X-Ray Technician Society, the Radcliff Women's Club, and was an accomplished cook and baker winning several ribbons at regional and state fairs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Irene (Patterson) Carter and her sweet dog "T.J". She is survived by her husband, Albert McDonald, sister Beth (Chuck) Flynt of Springfield, GA; brother Robert "Bubba" (Flora) Carter of Greensboro, NC; sister-in-law Diane (Steve) Mayer, two nieces - Cara Hill, Springfield, GA and Jennifer Carter, Gastonia, NC. Also surviving are five nephews Brian Flynt, Jasper, FL; Jeff Carter, Simpsonville, SC; Joshua and Caleb Walsh, Springfield, GA and Patrick (Tasha) McDonald, Sheppardville, KY.

The funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at Mill Creek Baptist Church with Reverends T. B. Smith and Faron Knopp officiating. Mrs. McDonald was interred in the Buck Grove Cemetery, Ekron, KY.

Visitation was held Tuesday, December 31, 2013. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donors choice or to Mill Creek Baptist Church, 1182 Jones St, Radcliff, KY 40160 (on-line at http://mill-creek-baptist.com/contact.htm).
