Moses Barney, 82, a residence of the Marshall road, near the Hillsboro city limits, died at his home early Friday morning after an extended illness of heart disease. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Marshall M.E. church, the Rev. Mr. Lee, pastor, officiating. Burial was made in the M.E. church cemetery. Survivors include six sons; Arthur, Fred,and Stewart all of Hillsboro; Isaac of Wilmington; Ode of Xenia; and Cliff of Wickliffe ; and two daughters; Mrs. Jennie Riley, Bedford; and Mrs. Rose Schoonover, of Hillsboro. Mr. Barney was born in Adams county and had lived in the section all of his life.
