She married Pius Leiker Aug. 12, 1919 at Victoria. He died May 5, 1960.
She was a homemaker and spent her lifetime in the Victoria community. She was a member of St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Christian Mothers and Secular Franciscan Order, all of Victoria.
Survivors include five sons, Gilbert P. and Robert, both of Victoria, Elmer of Great Bend, Neon of Independence, Laurian of Ellis; seven daughters, Luella Dreiling, Theresa Haselhorst, Ethel Gatschet, all of Hays, Armella Wasinger Thomson of Russell, Aquina Rajewski of Victoria, Roseline Wiesner of Punta Gorda, Fla., Mary Ellen Schmidtberger of Hill City; 45 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, John Sander, Alex Sander and Peter J. Sander; three sisters, Catherine Billinger, Magdalena Wasinger and Elizabeth Von Feldt, a foster sister, Helen Meis, and one grandson, Tom Lee Leiker.
Services were Tuesday at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria, with Father Felix Petrovsky, Father Didacus Dunn and Father Michael Scuhnicki officiating; burial in St. Fidelis Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the St. Fidelis Charitable Fund.
